Hi, my name is Sheridan – new to Ratedpeople and would like to get more reviews. Friendly approach with clients to fulfil all their work. Involved in all aspects of building. We provide a quick turnaround on quotes at competitive rates. We always keep a clean and tidy site. Customer satisfaction is our main priority.
Started in building Sept 2016. Previously a Production Engineer, but decided to change to a job that was more hands on with a good social connection. I chose building work – so I have a good balance of technical skills and practical skills gained over many year of working on Builds.
My first two builds were complete builds from the ground up, so I had to seek out and get trades on-site to complete work I didn’t have the skills for.
Over time I have carried out all sorts of work over the past few years from Setting out a site, Groundworks, Blockwork, Construction, Timber work/studding, Plaster boarding, Fitting kitchens and Bathroom, as well as Wooden Flooring and Tiling, and of course decorating.
I leave plumbing, electrical work and plastering to the trades ( and have good contacts ) – but I have a good eye for detail but enjoy fitting kitchens, bathrooms, doors, skirting, and painting.

Sheridan was hired in Apr - initial communication and detailed quotes gave confidence however, once he started the job it became clear that his work was average at best and more honestly that of a weekend DIY’er. The job ran well over and he has yet to actually finish it (about to start claim against him for costs to finish job). His quotes where he contracts out to the trade aren’t accurate and he doesn’t check the cost with them so some very expensive surprises. Avoid at all cost.

I did the work for Paul with my colleague Jim ( between us around 35 years of experience in building ). Paul had no issues with our quality of our work ( at the time ) - studwall, plaster boarding, blending in of plastering, plumbing work, LVT Flooring, painting, downlights - the only finishing work not done was fitting 3x isolators into existing pipework, but this was not essential. NOTE : I've built 2 complete houses - ground up !!
Fitted Kitchens
Do not touch this workman he took my money, and it left me with a destroyed kitchen .He convinced me he was a capable kitchen fitter he is certainly not .Please be wise and do not employ him

Jackie kitchens were IKEA ( these were self-assembly - which I did in 1 day - approx 10 units ). Jackie needed extra work to the original estimate - about 2 days. The quality of work was never queried when I was there working ( I have fitted many kitchens in my working career ). When I was finishing off Friday - I said I would be invoicing for the week ( 2 days ) - she said she didn't want to pay for the work that I was doing. She broke the contract with me. I have probably fitted 20 kitchens in my time.

Fitted us in very quickly, arrived promptly, did an excellent job and took all the rubbish away. Would thoroughly recommend

Great service from Sheridan. Punctual, polite and reasonably priced.
Bathroom Installation
Couldn’t recommend Sheridan enough. We needed a radiator removed and a bathroom towel radiator installed. We were really impressed with his work and the outcome was so much better than we hoped. He was kind and really helpful as well.
