George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. I paid for new roof in 2017 with 25 years warranty. In November 2024 the roof felt apart. I made claim through my insurance company who appointed BVS surveyor to inspect the roof. Insurance claim was declined due to poor workmanship ( insufficient battens, not secureed dry verge, tiles and not enough felt). I asked Roofsmart honour their warranty but they refused saying that I paid cheap and now they charge 10k for new roof but who wants defective roof in the first place Now I need to take legal action.

Tom came to skim my son's ceiling but because it had old artex and very uneven he decided to put a false ceiling in, board that and then skim it. Tom is a really friendly guy, kept showing me where he was up to in the job and was very tidy and did a great overall job at a good price. The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!
Whole spectrum of decorating jobs plus joinery and plumbing.
We have an old cast iron bath and had the bath panels to fix to it. We didn't feel confident doing it ourselves as it was quite a tricky job. Lukasz took time to get the measurements and the cutting was perfect. Looks great. Also we asked him to fix the old original bathroom door which has never closed shut. He put new hinges and shaved it and now it shuts. He did some plastering too. It took a day and charged his day rate (£150) plus a little extra for the hinges, plaster and frame. Great job!

Great communication throughout, arrived on time and had the emulsion job done within the day, as well as stripping wallpaper and patching up a little hole previously caused by a broken blind. I hired 5 Star Luxury Drives & Patios to install a patio in my back garden & to renew the path down the side of my house & to my front door & rear gate. A great team & they've done a fantastic job, absolute top notch. They put the hours in everyday & got the job done on time & to budget. It would be ideal if i could leave pictures as to the stat of my home and the damage this contractor caused. i had to get ride of this contractor and find an alternative. This has cost me double what it should have as i had paid this contractor the majority of his invoice then had to employ another to correct the work. please check the users tax filing on company house (which have not been completed) and the fact they have been expelled from the federation of master builders. not recommended
