We chose Buildway to do this important work at our house replacing a 42 year old timber balcony. Bill came over and gave us a very thorough assessment of the options and then produced a fair quote for the work. The dates were agreed and stuck to. The job threw up some complications that couldn’t have been foreseen and they were handled professionally by the team. Installation in spring great - friendly, helpful and worked great. However, when greater use of the boiler (ie. Heating) was needed increased leaks appeared and flooded two floors below. Trying to get 'tony' back to fix the bodge that caused it was impossible. Tony sends streams of lengthy excuses trying to deflect blame onto anyone but himself. These included being busy with other jobs, a way crash, not having declared points on his licence, to falling asleep! He gave compensation.

Mo came and surveyed what was needed. Then quoted. Had a team he said would be fast and thorough.paid 40% deposit He did not discuss and liaise with other trades working on house. This Caused problems. Ended up flooding both up and downstairs with full radiators left on sides draining onto laminate. floors. Floors ruined and had to be removed and I face 8/10k to replace. Broke fibre optics cable. Refused to accept responsibility for any of the errors and mistakes. Dreadful experience and nothing but stress.
