I had a new sink installation to be done in my clinic room and also changed and repositioned a toilet for my bathroom and also fitted a new sink in there too along with installing hot water in my bathroom along with my other room. Quoted on our work, which was accepted and deposit paid. Then four weeks out from the agreed start date, said he'd forgotten to include costs for a full roof replacement (hip to gable extension) so it would be almost £30,000 more than the original price. We could not move forward, and £2,500 of our deposit was not returned to us as steels had already been purchased and cut (but he refused to connect us with the supplier so we could retain these for use in our project).
