I have been involved in the electrical mechanical sound A/V and general building trades for over 35 years. I have recently joined this web site and have found some conversion work pictures for a garage conversion. General building, slate patio, blockwork, window installation, patio door installation, wiring for electronic smart shower, plumbing, Velux window installation, tiling, carport, etc Also some recent garden fence replacement work... I started out after leaving college with electrical installation and appliance repair, auto electrical work, alarm fitting, mainly fault finding and rectification with a strong sense of where problems are possible and the personality of being able to sort most issues out quickly and with the least time and disruption for all parties involved. Previous work has included listed buildings, churches, The bank of England, M O D Whitehall, country estate maintenance and security. A large volume of diverse experiance in many trades. I am extremely neat and tidy in my work, and have very high standards. I have worked for the Royal Household designing and fitting lighting for the queen in St James palace. It’s unfortunate that I need to give them a poor rating , first instance absolutely great service , however since install the window hasn’t been weighted properly having been told it is . Having to tape it shut says otherwise. Second problem the weight is stuck in the box so now the window doesn’t function. Third issue the window leaks ! It’s hasn’t been sealed properly. Contacted numerous times but had no luck with trying to rectify these issues. No reply after many attempts. Disappointed

Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

Can not rate Steve highly enough, The standard or work was superb, his approach to the project was professional and very organised. The project it self was a complete renovation consisting of creating a large open plan kitchen / diner and family space. this involved a complete relocation of kitchen which not only came in on time but also in budget. The Family is thrilled with the finish and enjoy living in the space. Brilliant.

Jimmy came round to give us a quote very soon after we had asked for a workman. We needed soundproofing on two floors and carpets and underlay fitted on two floors and the stairwells plus landings. Pip is an excellent all rounder but is inclined to spend too much time on tasks if not supervised, which can be costly if employed on a day rate. In my experience, Pip should make more effort to separate his tools from others in order to avoid confusion of ownership.
