Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Vitaliy & his team are excellent. They were very punctual starting at 7.45 every day & working full solid days, even at weekends. They never missed a day. Vitaliy kept me daily updated regarding the process & was present on the job each day. The quote was detailed & competitive & final cost close to the original. The work was completed to a very high standard. It was a complex job but Vitaliy made the process less stressful. I was kept updated asked my opinion even on the smallest things.

Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.
