I have grown up on a construction site and have always had a good hand in lead ever since I was 4 years old. I had worked with my father doing plumbing and by the time I was 13 years old I was a part time partner in his company, I further went to college and qualified in level 2 NVQ Plumbing and had carried a full-term apprenticeship, creating a portfolio. Once finishing my qualifications I became a full time partner in my father’s general building company which entailed doing, extensions, refurbs, plumbing and heating, kitchen & bathroom refurbishments, new builds, roofing and lead work. We ran the company together for a further 8 years on top of his 45 years of quality construction. Afterwards I have done my own jobs and have now recently created my own company B.J.T Construction, named after my 3 young boys a business that shows we are built upon family, integrity, quality and professional standards. To help create a business that will always provide everything the client requires and to which everything that should be upheld.

I had a lot of work done today - curtain rails put up, a rather drastic painting and filling in job to be done in the main room where an old fashioned radiator had been taken out, etc. The painting job was of real concern to me as this is a newly refurbished flat with no clue left as to what shade was used on the walls, but the match is faultless. I take pride in my work with attention to detail, and work to the highest standards with customers. I believe in good preparation to achieve high quality workman ship, and only use best quality products. There is no job to big or small, and can work to tight deadlines if needed. I always respect, and never forget your house is your home, when working for clients. I always respect the customers space, and to take care to work around their schedule. Nothing gives me great pleasure on a job completed, than to stand back and see a old room reviewed and a happy client. For all interior and come exterior. I work throughout the whole of Sussex, and am fully insured, all my quotations are honest, and very competitive. Chris and his friend phil did a great job in the room. Both were really nice guys and worked hard. Chris when he came looked at the room and gave me a quote there and then unlike other tradesmen we have had. They turned up on time, friendly and did a great job in the room, 4 walls and ceiling in one day. They covered areas with sheets and rolled up the carpet after job.

We have had some bad weather in the last couple of weeks and so far everything seems OK. I would also say the house feels a little warmer already!
