After a very log and unnecessarily complicated and long process to get any accurate information from, and when an appointment was finally scheduled - no one showed up, no one replied to messages and calls. Tom from Pink Hippo Tree Surgery did an excellent job. He arrived early, was polite, and very professional, handling even a difficult and aggressive neighbour calmly and firmly. He skilfully thinned a large silver birch overhanging our garden, cut back an overgrown Fiddle-Leaf Fig, and trimmed other trees. He cleared a large amount of waste and left everything tidy. I was over whelmed by the very early start which in this weather I can understand but how quickly this size of tree was removed worked non stop respected my neighbours property and cleared and removed all materials and logs no damage considering the size of tree.. This was our first job with this company, and we were entirely happy with every aspect of it. Tammy came straight out to view the garden, and reccomended the best way to tackle our trees. What we really liked about Tammy is that she met all the timings, and delivered exactly what was promised. She then came back at the end of the job to check we were entirely happy before taking any payment. We can reccomend this company without reservation, and we will definitely use them again.
No work ethics. Despite clearly explaning the scope of work, did only about half the work and claimed they are done and left. In the evening, on my own I made a contact to pay them partial amount for what they put effort towards. Wouldn't reccomend to anyone.
I have been doing gardening work since 2013 and i have been doing landscaping since 2016. I worked for Fantastic Services for two years and then went to work for Handy Garden - i still do contract work for them. I have now gone out to start my own company and have chosen to do this through Rated People. I take pride in doing good quality work .
