The good news - my previous review and perception has improved significantly. Literally a 180 turnaround. The bad news is Rated People doesn't allow me to remove the previous review, only update it. Therefore just to provide a brief update; Asa has since joined the team and wow what a difference he has made. Very customer centric, communicates very well and really reasonable all round. David, Adam and the team they employed were very good. They talked through every aspect of the job beforehand and made the costs clear in the contract. The construction was of a high quality and all done efficiently. This construction was completed during lockdown and the team adapted and communicated well throughout the process. Everyone who worked on the job was polite and friendly and professional. During the construction there were minor changes needed which were accomodated well, even after completion.
John worked extremely hard to fulfil our brief & also had great vision when considering possibilities. He understood our needs and ensured all snagging was carried out before completion. All builders are currently pushed to the limit with supplies and staffing - John managed this to the best of his ability and was always polite, helpful and friendly.

Poor work. Chemfix wasn't mixed properly for gallows brackets and didn't set for over a week. The joiner didn't even know which joists required additional strength and I had to tell him what to do. Would not recommend.

We still have work we would like to do to the outside of the house as well as a loft conversion and when we have enough money to take on those projects, we would definitely re-hire Stanley and his team.
