Hi I’m Paul I set up KAL Building Solutions Ltd after successfully working as site manager working on refurbishments for some of the biggest names including Brewdog, Revolution Bars and Ask Italian to name a few where timescales were tight but always kept to budget and time. Prior to this I worked on the domestic sector ranging from refurbishments to structural works. Marius was outstanding in every respect. We recently bought a house that had engineered oak wood flooring that has been stained in a dark tone. Marius sanded back the floor to the original oak finish across the whole of the downstairs. It completely transformed the floor, was meticulously sanded and beautifully finished. Marius was thorough, professional and an expert at his trade. He was easy, pleasant to have around and explained the whole process from the start. He delivered on time and was great value.

As well as providing a very competitive quote they completed the works to budget and to a great timescale to get us the extension we needed before Christmas. Not a good experience. Quoted £600 to replace 2 pieces of trellis, fix fence posts and do a general garden tidy up. In total he spent 1/2 a day on the job, so very expensive. The garden tidy was ok if cursory. The job on the trellis was unfortunately not adequate. The fence posts weren't secured, so it remained wobbly, leaning to one side, the trellis wasn't on straight and was split in some places by the screws he's used. Less than 3 months later the trellis fell down. He refused to refund for the labour.
