James did a good day's work. He was joined by work mate Craig. They erected a pagoda. James started to sand my path and patios. He said he would come back on Monday to finish. He didn't. I called him again and on four different occasions he volunteered a day to come but didn't. I foolishly paid James in full. They left garden debris which took us several hours to clear up. I called James to politely say we would finish the sanding ourselves if we knew where he was up to. He has severed all contact.

I could cry. Don't pick him, I coukd have done this better myself. This man caused a weeks worth of mess for us to put right. He got paint on windows, tiles in kitchen and all surfaces in kitchen. Neat and Tidy did a great job of tidying up our garden in a rental property. They gave a quote based on photos and did phone on the day to say that the scope of the job was much bigger than originally thought, so the cost was higher but this did reflect the state of the garden.
