He was very quick to quote and helped us a lot with recommending places to buy the new toilet and sink from. His workmanship and attention to detail was superb, he worked very hard and he took pride in the work he did every step of the way. I contracted Alfie to refurbish a large area of Cotswold stone terrace and pathways around my home in Godalming. The terrace was a mess. Alfie and his team made a great job of removing all the old cement mortar pointing, relaying loose slabs, re-jointing and tidying up the area, including rebuilding the front door step. His young team were friendly, polite and hard working and I am happy to recommend them to anyone considering hard landscaping work. Everything was delivered to the agreed plan.

I have good prices and my prime trade is plastering
I went with this person because I thought their price was really good but I got what I paid for. The plastering is all completely uneven, with gouges out of it it lots of places. Around the plug sockets was left as big holes so I had to go round and fill them all myself (about 10 sockets). The room was left in a complete state with plaster all over the floor and window. I was also told I would be sent an invoice, then on the day was asked over to pay by bank transfer before I had even seen the work.
